In early trading on Wednesday, shares of Amazon.com topped the list of the day's best performing Dow Jones Industrial Average components, trading up 2.8%. Year to date, Amazon.com registers a 18.4% gain.
And the worst performing Dow component thus far on the day is Nike, trading down 1.1%. Nike is lower by about 15.9% looking at the year to date performance.
Two other components making moves today are McDonald's, trading down 0.7%, and Johnson & Johnson, trading up 2.6% on the day.
